Most Difficult Year Yet

I cannot do my taxes all in one sitting. Every time I tried to re-open my taxes (I had saved what I worked on), I was forced to install updates even though there were no updates. This never happened before and it was very time consuming/stressful. I will most likely save up to have someone do my taxes in the future. Just not worth the cost of this program to deal with the extra stress.
Can't scroll down through the category pages when you don't need to work on sections. Had to drag my scroll bar down to move through it.
What's great about it: easily imports info. from previous year; comparisons to previous year
What's not so great: Kept forcing me to install updates

Over 20 years with TurboTax

Never had a problem of any kind! Our income is well above average with many charitable deductions and other outside income and TurboTax has always made it easy and accurate! It's April 14 today, but I'm not worried I did my taxes with TurboTax.
What's great about it: The easiest to use - Everything is done for you!
What's not so great: None, unless you want it free!

always painful

Every year we say we will use a professional, but hope beats eternal and we try again to use this product. When doing a review, why doesn't program take you back to item to be corrected?
What's great about it: retains previous year
What's not so great: difficult to find specific topics.

Seems a less polished this year, kinda buggy.

I have used Turbo Tax Home and Business download for Mac for several years in a row now. This year the program just didn't seem a solid as usual.
There was a least one place where I redid a section several times and got taken down two different paths, seemingly at random (I thought I entered the same information 2 times but was taken down different paths!)
Also when I finished my OR State return the program just sat there spinning the little gear gizmo and I had to exit out of that page and come at it from a different direction to skip that problem -using the menus at the top.
I was successful in getting my taxes filed in the end, but this buggy process eroded my confidence in Turbo Tax a little. If the program isn't more polished next year, I may go looking elsewhere to have my taxes done.

Home and Business not worth it

This is the first time I used the Home and Business version. Decided to use this because of last years debacle with missing forms/support in basic. Download and updates went fine but when using it I couldn't tell many times when hitting 'continue' whether it was just slow or hung. A couple of times after waiting more than 30 minutes I tried to close with no luck and ended up having to reboot to get turbotax out of the system. Luckily it recovered the data. Don't know if this was just this version but after two years of problems I'm not sure I will use this again next year.
What's great about it: Straight forward easy to follow
What's not so great: Extremely slow and hung PC twice.

I like TT

Overall a very good experience and I will continue to use TT in the future, but will not electronic file. Heard too many stories of bad guys capturing the refund checks with electronic filing.
What's great about it: Detailed and easy to follow except of printing or deleting a file
What's not so great: A bit confusing over how to print for reivew and final print to mail.
