Changes Challenging

Using the program was relatively easy to use, with one exception. I found the process of making changes/additions awkward and laborious. It would not allow direct access to forms, but required using the interview process to access for any changes or updates.
This process was very time-consuming and annoying.
What's great about it: Seeks much background and verifies detail
What's not so great: Hard to access specific lines for adding or changing

Reduced my anxiety

TurboTax took the edge off of filing taxes. I used home and business version. My husband and I were both self-employed. Last year we used an expensive accountant, but this past year our income was much less and we were not able to afford to pay quarterly taxes.Turbotax seamlessly took us through every detail of what seemed like a complicated tax return. Only suggestion is make navigating back to a section that needs a correcting more simple than using Back button.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to navigate to sections using back button.

5 Stars except for F8 Estimates

All instances of using Estimated Data (F8) need to be identified in the final review. I wasted hours trying to find why I couldn't clear the Estimated Data entries found during Fnal Review. E.g., my Schedule C profit/loss lines were all "estimated" but the root cause was my self-reminder F8 Estimate on an obscure expense I wanted to go back to later. This expense (from which all other estimates were created) was not identified as an estimate in Final Review.
Also, please make it so that Supporting Data from the previous year is NOT overwritten without a warning when typing in a line entry for the current year.
What's great about it: Continuity year-to-year and pre-filled data
What's not so great: The F8 Estimates need to be more clearly identified

Great program

Overall, the program works great. However, if there is an area left blank on one part of the return, it can get confused and leave a bunch of areas blank that then are caught in the federal or state review. No big problem, just an observation.

Consistently good software.

Once again, TurboTax made my tax filing straightforward and concise. The step by step guidance is very helpful, and makes completing the tax return data entry simple.
Well done, as usual. I'll be using it again next year.

Bringing 2014 data forward to 2015 return

What's not so great: Do not like the fact that TT doesn't fill in pertinent info from 2014 to 2015, such as AGI, retired status, SS numbers..
