Makes life so easy

Been using the program since the software existed. Have had all kinds of complicated tax issues including investment club, estate and contracted services. Simple step by step questionnaire allows program to select appropriate tax forms for every tax situation. Thank you Intuit!
What's great about it: Comprehensive step by step instructions; interview allows getting tax breaks on deductions you may not know about; safe
What's not so great: Don't always know what documents I need; wish there was checklist for gathering info for next year

Very frustrating and time consuming considering what we pay for this version.

Arizona state tax program

There were three or four places in the Arizona state tax return where the program asked for information that had already been entered in the federal program. I'm not talking about confirmation type questions. I'm talking about things like "What were the total capital gains from investments purchased before 1/1/2012? The dates were all entered when I completed the stock sales. Why are you asking again?
It's like they didn't spend the time working the state program.
That has always been the case. It just hit me with more dumb stuff this year and I found it irritating.
What's great about it: Got the tax calculated right
What's not so great: some sections are awkward
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Returning Turbo Tax Customer for 10 years

I have been using Turbo Tax Home & Business for over 10 years. It is safe, reliable, and very easy to use.
The guided way to enter you tax data is very effective and complete. It finds every single deduction and credits available for my scenario. Relatively cheap considering all the benefits.
