What Happened?

I have used Turbo Tax Pretty much since the beginning. I have always found it easy to use and pretty accurate. And it provided a lot of helpful tips and information for finding deductions, with clear explanations.
But not this year. I usually file in January so I usually find a few bugs, I report them and they are fixed in a short time. This year I waited until April to file. I assumed most of the bugs would be fixed by then. As soon as I started, I found a bug, but could find no way to report it. The only support I could find was support from the community. I managed to work around the bugs, until I was working on the State return. I got stuck in a loop, and I had to jump ahead in order to get out of the loop. Then it wouldn't let me return to finish a number of forms that I needed to submit. I finally got back into the interview by going directly to the form and working on it from there. Then it continued the interview. Then it insisted I needed to file another state return because I had income there last year. Then when I filed the Federal return, it was rejected. It had pulled in incorrect information from last year's return. When I printed out the state returns there were fields that were not filled in and not all of the forms were available. I needed to play some more to get them to show up. Now I am worried about what was actually submitted in my Federal electronic return.

What's great about it: Easy to use for Personal Filing
What's not so great: Not very friendly for a small business returns.

It works. Pros and novices use it. I have used TTAX since win3.1. Still rocks my world.
What's great about it: easy, thorough, and thought provoking
What's not so great: finally had to update from XP lol :-)

quick and Easy filing.
Only negativeis the cost of the state e-file.
What's great about it: Quick, Easy, all the forms,
What's not so great: Shut down 2 or 3 times without notice / State e-file expensive

Better than expected

Complete and easy to use. I saved more money using Turbo tax than going to a CPA. There are so many ways to save money using turbotax, and it will let you know. Just walks you through everything step by step…
What's great about it: very easy to use.
What's not so great: Too many ways to save money, I had to spread the work out over a few days. NOT REALLY A CON….

Turbo Tax 2015

Save buttons should be added at the end of each section. That way if something does happen, you don't lose all your work just one section.
What's great about it: I liked the help that was available all along the way.
What's not so great: You get the papers to fill out for a free state but are charged extra to file it!
