Section that gave me some trouble was the annuity input. One as attempting to transfer my W-2 into Intuit, I no longer have a OPM password so had to hand imput all data. The instructions for inputing my 1099R did not include all the boxes on mine and I was unsure if my Box 12 was correct for the state ID. Also, I qualified for the Baily settlement being a CSRS retiree and missed that I needed to enter the button for Baiy distribution first time through. This could be made clearer in the help box.
What's great about it: Input was fairly easy and I like the several reviews
What's not so great: Some sections were hard to follow

Last year a friend walked me through Turbo tax. This year I did by myself other than calling her at the end. Just help me check I had done it right and run the check my figures feature in Turbo Tax. Such a wonderful feeling completing taxes myself and feeling everything done right.
What's great about it: ease going thru each section, help find and community super
What's not so great: Help feature when walking you through steps wish stay up till you get to the page and line you are looking for.

Great help, but had to search for a few forms

I have used the program for many years. I generally get good help. However, I upgraded to Home and Business only to find that it won't do a 1041 tax return - the result of confusing advice on the TT help blog. TT needs to own the answers that are there and correct the ones that mis-lead folks on issues like that.
What's great about it: The language was generally clear when prompted for data
What's not so great: Missed the home sale, and had to search for it
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I moved

Overall excellent experience. Every question was relevant and easy to understand. Small businesses need products like this because time is a rare commodity
What's great about it: REALLY easy to use, with solid questions and great explanations
What's not so great: Still seems a little high-priced

What's great about it: The programs works well I have been using for over 10 years.
What's not so great: Difficult to get to bottom of some categories. The slide on the side disappears when trying to move it to bottom.

Easy as could be!

This years program made some of last years challenges easier and was easy to go from step to step and then back again without losing place. The program checking and review was very thorough even caught an error in state ID by a mismatch with zip.
What's great about it: Made the complexities of my return easy
What's not so great: Not sure what the Flags were supposed to do I flagged some stuff but??
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
