E-Filing is a too cumbersome. It took as long to actually file the return as it did to complete the returns.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Still loving it and I've been a user for about 10 yrs now.
What's great about it: Great user interface and helpful guidance.
What's not so great: reanswering yes/no questions when you want to edit a section
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Useful and Efficient Tool

This is my 8th year using Turbo-Tax. I would not think of completing my taxes using a different software as I've become accustomed to this tool and it works really well. I am not a tax professional although I feel I understand the tax laws at a high level-largely due to using TurboTax to learn about the various forms and rules.
I itemize deductions and feel that without TurboTax, I would not be maximizing my deductions and leave money on the table.
Overall, I recommend this tool to first-time filers and long-time filers of any level of filing (1040EZ, 1040A, etc.)

What's great about it: Easy to Understand, Logical Process to Follow, Has all Forms necessary, Great Value (Home & Business Version)
What's not so great: Some discrepancy on vehicle deduction-had to refer to form to clear up as guided process did not catch

Streamlined an arduous process!

A truly simple way through a complex process of data entry that in the end all seemed to workout. The questions left no stone unturned in getting the most deductions, sometines the prompts would initiate additional entry.
Great program, well worth the investment.

Worthe the Money

Start early and go thru all questions , I am saving 300 to 400 per year in CPA fees

Great update to last year version. It was really easy to use and happy that I am done.

I've Used TurboTax for Years and Always Loved It

I've used TurboTax for years and have always been satisfied. I hate paying taxes but this product makes the process very straightforward. When you continue to use TurboTax year to year, it pulls information from previous years which really helps.
What's great about it: Easy to use even with a complicated tax situation. It can pull in a lot of info from your financial institutions.
What's not so great: None
