I had a problem on two different occasions when going to the state tax forms...Froze my computer the first time, shutting it down. Second time, Maryland Tax return never downloads had a black screen. Third time finally allowed me to download Maryland's tax forms and complete them. Whew!
What's great about it: Each step simple, good explanations, walks your thru returns
What's not so great: Maryland State Tax download hosed 2 times

The software was very easy to use, very thorough, and made tax preparation so much easier. I've been using it for many years. I always choose TurboTax, even when I've seen competing products at a bit lower price. It's just too good not to use.
What's great about it: Really helps me with my rental property and business website.

I've been using turbo tax for several years. last years changed from previous years for me, so was a little more time consuming to look up things. this year I sailed through.

It gets easier and easier to do your taxes

This is a great product. What is really nice is after many years of using it, it seems to get easier and easier! It completes my business and personal taxes in one software solution!
What's great about it: Information from last year is transferable. It uncovers deductions I never would have. It's cheaper than HRB!
What's not so great: It doesn't do the worksheets for me!

Attached a state tax penalty when I was due a refund and no way to change it. Retirement section is very confusing and not enough info given.
What's great about it: walks you thru everything
What's not so great: Not easy to go back and review, hard to fine what your looking for.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

CA returns were not nicely laid out as to WHAT and HOW to complete; nor could I tell what blanks I needed to fill in. Need verbiage direction to complete these - NOT there!
