The process is very easy and intuitive, and I appreciate the available explanations. As a former CPA it is assuring my knowledge is being kept up to date.
What's great about it: Upload of personal info and stock transactions
What's not so great: Little bit tricky moving last years data to a new computer this yr

This is the only tax preparation software I've used over the past 10 plus years. I prepare my own tax returns and wouldn't attempt to do so without TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to use and covers all complexities of my tax return needs
What's not so great: Can't think of any.

Inadvertently Order and PAID for PA tax return which I didn't need. Tried several times to delete this program with no success. I have used this program since it's inception. This is the first time I've had this much difficulty. I am thoroughly disgusted!

Turbo Tax has done what congress can not seem to do, make it so the average person can do their own taxes. I've referred many friends to Turbo Tax, who have paid big bucks to tax preparers when they have very simple returns. I have several corporate returns that I do plus the entire families personal returns, Turbo Tax has made tax time, bearable. Without it we'd all be at the mercy of the tax preparer.
If you've never tried it, you'll be very happy you did, and amazed at how simple your taxes are to prepare yourself.
What's great about it: Examples of deductions you might not think of.
What's not so great: Some questions need additional explainations so you have more knowledge to know how to answer.
