The completion is easy to do except in completing a complex K-1 (oil/gas partnership). Some of the entries defy completion in TT. Suggest that if there are errors showing in a K-1 form, TT still permit the electronic filing.
What's great about it: Much better than a CPA
What's not so great: Difficult to work on complex K-1s

Overall it was worth every penny. Keep it up.
What's great about it: Easy to follow the instructions
What's not so great: Some portions need more explanation and it forces ypu to go to other web sites.

Much worse this year

Dozens and dozens of "Asset Worksheets" left over from previous years. Had to delete them - one by one - before I could e-File.
What's great about it: It calculates everything
What's not so great: Dozens of empty things left over from previous years

Got through it again - 9 years and counting

I really like how Turbotax can retain and import a lot of the repetitive input especially from previous years refunds. It's a real time saver. I also like how Turbotax imports many of the forms that I use every year to do my taxes. The import eliminates the human input errors that could occur otherwise. (a lot ot the printed forms have some very difficult to read fine print.) I especially like being able to file electronically.
I can't believe, however that it costs as much as I am being charged to do so. Somebody is getting really rich on that one.
I also have a slight problem with the program not picking up where I left off in many cases. Also, in the review section, when the system spots an area to check, I can't skip back to that area in the interview, which would be helpful.
Still, I am hooked and will continue with Turbotax as I find it to be one of the best investments I make every year.

Great Tool

Great tool. I'm a first time user and I lost nothing by doing my taxes myself. THANKS!!!
What's great about it: Easy to follow questions to input information. I love the refund counter, navigation table, and flag function is GREAT!
What's not so great: When answering questions, I wish it informed you what form the information was being put into.
