Easy for first time user

I'm in my mid 60s and this was my first time doing my taxes after my CPA retired. In addition to wage and retirement income I have consulting and property income. My taxes do take a lot of preparation and require many forms. I was not confident that I would be able to use Turbo Tax but decided to give it a try knowing that I could abandon it at any time and go to a new CPA.
To my surprise Turbo Tax was really user friendly and gave me results comparable to what I got under similar circumstances from my CPA at a fraction of the cost.
With Turbo Tax iIt doesn't take a genius - but maybe I am....

Getting Better

My income tax style is to first use the automatic feature, before all of the information is available, to start my return and give me an idea of how much I will owe or get back. I then go to forms mode to finish my return. The forms mode is adequate for me but not the best.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is getting better for me.
What's not so great: Not optimum for my style.

Recommend - Easy to use!

I've been using TurboTax since 2011 for my small business and actually enjoy the process. I took a couple tax classes in college and so I understand how its all calculated to a degree. It is much simpler/more accurate than doing it by hand which is what I use to do. Overall I "love" the product as much as you can possibly "love" doing taxes. I don't know why anyone would go somewhere to do your taxes when it can be done at home. I wish it would show more of a snapshot/summary of taxes and forms along the way but not a big deal.
What's great about it: Easy to use, navigate, and overall follow
What's not so great: At end it's confusing on saving tax forms to PDF and if you get a chance to if E-file. Can't view forms along the way.

TurboTax 2015

TurboTax 2015 is a great product. This software continues to be my preferred way to do tax returns.
What's great about it: great as always
What's not so great: non
