Was unable to proceed through efile payment process and had to call to get a confirmation number to pay and actually file the federal and state returns.

Easy to use and understand. Have used for several years and each year it gets easier. I finish filing feeling confident it fully complies with my obligation to pay taxes.
What's great about it: Ease of use, all info there

Clear instructons

While I have a minor quibble with Form 8949 data entry, I find TurboTax essential to my ability to do my own taxes.
What's great about it: clear, thorough preparation software, works well with Quicken
What's not so great: Doesn't allow enough entries for trades in Form 8949; had to repeat same account

Good Package

I've used Turbo Tax for several years now. I continue to like the walk-through interview process for collecting up your information, the peace of mind that I can rely on it's calculations, the running total of refund/taxes due on the top, and the ease of preparing my state return. I have found the interview questions and quick helps less helpful this year and sometimes struggled with figuring out if a particular item applied to me. Also, I preferred when it used to go back to each step when pressing the 'back' key rather than jumping to the beginning of that section as this new way sometimes made it diificult to find a particular item I needed to update/change. Overall, a good product.
What's great about it: step-by-step process, calculations quick & correct, transfer of info to state return
What's not so great: Interview questions not always clear
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

A pain to have to reselect the same answer again, when you go back through the questions. At least retaining the prior selection would be helpful.
What's great about it: Liked the addition of the state of Ohio business deductions in 2015 version.
What's not so great: Federal return does not print with mailing instructions

Generally, very easy to navigate.
In regards to car used in part for business, it would be helpful for Ttax to remember our car instead of requiring us to add the same car history info year after year.
It is confusing to discern where to enter self-employed income, business or personal income.
This review is too long. You should be able to opt out

Turbo Tax gives me peace of mind!

What I like best about this software is that it is so intuitive and, as a user, you're guided in a step by step fashion through the federal and state forms to make sure nothing is missed. Since I'm filing taxes for both personal and our small contracting business, the cost savings to us in not having to pay for a tax preparation service is substantial. The additional checks the program does to identify any potential oversights or errors allows for peace of mind that the figures and answers I've entered on the form have been checked and double-checked before hitting the final submit button. The option of e-filing and getting a refund by direct deposit or paying my taxes due by direct debit from my bank account is so convenient and a time-saver for me. Lastly, saving the return as a pdf on my desktop and backing it up in cloud-based storage allows me to know I can access a copy of this form at any time, should I need to do so. Thanks, Turbo Tax. :)
What's great about it: The step by step process of reviewing all income and possible deductions is excellent.
What's not so great: None that I've found in the many years I've been using Turbo Tax.
