TurboTax Home & Business is a no-brainer!

TurboTax Home & Business expands or shrinks its footprint to absolutely meet your needs as a home business owner. By the time you complete the program you actually have a better understanding of your individual tax scenario
What's great about it: Intuitive, efficient and detailed with all the help you could need
What's not so great: getting carried away reading too many help sources

Mostly good

This is the first year I didn't have un-correctable errors from my K-1 forms when doing the final audit. Otherwise, this is a mostly fine experience doing the taxes. The ease with which I am able to deal with income relating to my consulting business, with its depreciation requirements, is great. Perhaps I have a simpler tax situation than others. The only real nit was that the program got hung while calculating at the end of the federal tax form, forcing me to force quit the program.
What's great about it: Easy to input stuff
What's not so great: Gets hung when calculating final federal form

18 years of Turbo Tax

Overall, I found Turbo Tax to be easy to use and understand. The only issue I had is that it asked for business income and expense before personal income. I'm classified as a statutory employee and receive a w2 from my employer, but I still have to file a schedule c for home office and business travel related expenses. This was a bit confusing and I hsd to do a lot of double checking and back tracking to make sure all income and deductions got entered correctly.
What's great about it: The interview process was much better this year.
What's not so great: Personal income should come before business income and expenses.

Solid for years

I have used TurboTax since early 2000's.
Accurate, but the transfer of pervious years information is spotty. Why ask me to verify information on my previous return - when "YOU" just imported it? Annoying to go look up what should have transferred. Re-visiting the top level of a section after an update is odd. Did the update affect what I had previously entered? Should I revisit? This should be made clear. Otherwise, the product is solid.

Turbo Tax makes filing taxes painless

Some things in your return can be difficult to locate, but overall TT is awesome. I'd receommend to everyone.
What's great about it: Easy, especially if your situation is similar to the previous year!

Fast Filing

TT is easy to follow the program that addresses all tax issues. It has a great support staff and FAQ. It has explanations for most issues for you to access. I was able to go through it quickly.
Unfortunately, it still charges to file your state return.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: Having to pay to file state return

Easier each year

Seem as though I get done with tax prep faster each year. My whole family uses Turbo Tax now.
What's great about it: easiest tax prep as usual
