Got it Done

I like Turbo tax. It prompts you for ever possible income and deduction. I was confused a little when Turbo tax prompted me to enter 1099-misc, when I had already entered the same information in the business portion of Turbo Tax, It appeared that I was going to be taxed again for the 1099-Misc. I had to read the fine print that said that TurboTax would not post the double entry and charge me taxes again.
All in all, using turbo tax was easy and pain free - except having to pay so much in taxes (not a turbo tax issue).
I purchased a Neat scanner to document our spending (personal and business) by scanning receipts. I am hopping the I can use the information from the Neat scanner to prove that I pay way more sales tax than the standard sales tax deduction. Don't know if Turbo Tax will take the number from the Neat software or not, but at least I have a number for next year.
On your survey, it asks if you have kids or no kids. I have kids but they are grown. What id the answer?
What's great about it: The program guides you through everything. Fairly easy to use.
What's not so great: Some of the entries were confusing. Personal tax prompted for entry of 1099 business forms again

Have used Turbo Tax for many years and am very satisfied with the clarity and user friendliness. As a small business owner, I can prepare my own returns, without consulting an expensive accountant.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, clear explanations, allowed me to work at my time/pace

Taxes are always scared me a little, but I did it.
What's great about it: It was fairly easy to work with. Answered questions and explanations were easy to understand.
What's not so great: Sometims hard to find a specific situation that I wanted to edit.

First Time Using

For the most part I enjoyed my first time use and I will use next year. The only place I had trouble was with the New York State forms as I said above.
What's great about it: The Step by Step guides
What's not so great: On the NYS Forms it would not let me change items I knew were wrong

It is so easy to use and complete your taxes with TURBO TAX. My 16 year of using it is now complete.
What's great about it: So easy to do!

Easy and intuitive, needs better navigation

This is likely the best and more comprehensive tax software. With the complexity of the US Tax Code, TurboTax does an excellent job with collecting the data and checking, provide excellent feedback. Navigating the screen gets challenging at times, although the feature to switch between the Interview view and the Forms view is great.
What's great about it: Excellent organization
What's not so great: Needs better navigation

This year I upgraded to the business deluxe and the process went smoother than ever.
As usual turbo tax is accurate , reliable and thorough.
I had an issue with paying for the state filing and the tech support walked me through the technical glitch until it was resolved. He actually stayed on the phone for over 40 mins to help me.
Much appreciated. 2015 checked off - Happy Filer
