What's not so great: Needed to have a Virginia State e-file refunded because ended up mailing it in. Unable to get credit.

Lots of charges

In addition to pros/cons above, this product did NOT save some of the changes I had made in the hour before I purchased extra states. I found out by chance and had to redo all those edits from memory. Lost time and not sure it's as complete as it was before. Needs to ask to save before state product messes up Fed/existing states!
What's great about it: gives access to all forms, seems accurate
What's not so great: charges extra for state products and for state filing, pushes other TT products/services

It's great for simple taxes

I just wanted to deduct mileage for business, but it wanted me to amortize my cars. I hope I filled it out correctly and I haven't made my car a business asset that will be considered income if I discontinue using it for business down the road.
What's great about it: for the basics it has you covered
What's not so great: for business it got confusing and the directions weren't clear about vehicle trade ins.

Simple and Straightforward

Excellent Tax preparation software. I've been using it for YEARS without any problem. As I said, though, a list of all needed documentation at the beginning would help. I keep forgetting what all I'll need, and end up tracking it down as I progress through, rather than finding it all before I sit down to do the taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Plain language.
What's not so great: Could use a LIST of all needed documentation at the beginning.

Each year it gets better

With the walk through anyone can adjust the program to their individual tax return. It a no brainer that I would trust better than a car that drives itself.
What's great about it: You feel safe and know what you are going with the walk through
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's not so great: Did not like that although it says free state return, which it was, The still charged a fee for e-filing.

2015 TurboTax

Fast, Accurate and easy to use. Problem is, tax code is to difficult.

Mostly a Win

Not quite as simple as I have found in the past - mostly due to purchasing the product recommended, only to find it was wrong for me, and had to pay extra to upgrade. Had problems entering K-1 info as well - TurboTax kept adding additional ones I had to delete manually. Mostly a good and easy product, though. Priced right, and easy to e-file.
What's great about it: Access to last year's info, Easy to e-file
What's not so great: Confusing to choose the correct TurboTax Product for me
