Have used Turbo Tax for many years and will continue to do so. Have a small business that is also included along with my personal tax filing and Turbo Tax lets me do my taxes myself. Without Turbo Tax, I would have to have a tax service help me with the nuances of all the business forms.
What's great about it: Does a good job of leading me through step by step even though I have used Turbo Tax for many years.

Been using Turbo Tax for many years

I have used turbotax for many years, most of which I was an independant contractor filing schedule C. Now I am an employee, so taxes not as complicated. Regardless, I appreciate what TT has to offer and trust it for correctness. It is hard to imagine why I would need to pay a tax filing accountant, although I can see why it would be helpful to get tax advise in ADVANCE of the year.

From the moment you start your tax return TurboTax makes you feel that you are in charge. The easiness of the Walk me through everything help makes you feel like a tax expert.

What's great about it: Has all the forms and instructions in an easy-to-understand format. Finds errors for you.
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to identify where to fix errors that TurboTax finds.

Best Way to File

This is my third year using Turbo Tax. Carry over of information from the previous year is a huge plus. The community forum is an efficient way of find answers. Invariably someone else has had the same issue/question. Great way to save tax filing costs. See you next year!
What's great about it: Carry over information. Answers to questions fairly easy to find.
What's not so great: Unusual situations still not clarified (i.e. foreign pensions w/o 1099s)
