Efficient and easy

What's great about it: straight forward all around
What's not so great: cumbersome in the depriciation of the disposal of a business vehicle when it was used for both W2 and 1099 type work
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I had a baby, I moved

Free at last!

If you have a reasonable income level, Turbo tax takes a while, but I feel confident using it that I've received all the deductions I am due and Uncle Sam and the State have gotten their fair share. I am retired and whatever supplemental income I have is precious to us. Turbo tax helps preserve it.
What's great about it: the progressive approach to filling out too many forms!
What's not so great: System regarding space within the home seems redundant between the business and personal filings..

Easy as pie!

Most things are automatic. Just keep records and/or receipts of things you may think are deductible. (In one folder for easy access.)
What's great about it: Guides through all possibilities
What's not so great: I should have saved last years tax return in the cloud, instead of recreation.

Works well, but starting to get pricey!

I have been using for a long time , however I am starting to get fed up of the continuous de-featuring of existing versions and price hikes. If this continues, I will consider using something else in the future. While the software works great, it can be improved by not asking many of the questions for which it can figure out answers from the previous years returns. Also one should be able to import their previous years returns at any time instead of just at the beginning.
