I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and find it to be the perfect tool to easily complete my taxes and feel comfortable that they are done correctly!
What's great about it: Fast, simple and easy to follow
What's not so great: charge for state filing

Got it done quickly!

Overall an excellent experience for a fairly complicated hone/business return. The PDF conversion was clunky and incomplete from 2014 but I got around it. Also the itsdeductable export to TurboTax mechanism could be streamlined but it will be very helpful for preparing 2016.
What's great about it: Easy to follow "walk me through it" instructions
What's not so great: Conversion of 2014 PDF didn't bring all the info to 2015
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I Love Turbo Tax

I've used Turbo Tax for years and love it. I am confident in the results I get using this program, thanks to the step-by-step approach and options to find additional information as needed.
What's great about it: tools that walked me through steps
What's not so great: had to look up additional self-employment publications on the web to better understand allowable deductions

Refund Magic

I enjoy doing my taxes on Turbo Tax, It only takes a few hours because of my small business expenses. But it's easier than sitting in an uncomfortable office trying to explain why I had certain expenses to a stranger. Having the comfort of my home is much less stressful.
What's great about it: The ease and helpfulness
What's not so great: A little more specific on certain areas of smart checks
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used Turbo Tax for years and never been disappointed. Great product, simple yet very detail oriented. If your ducks are in a row before you start, it's pretty painless.
What's great about it: Step by step process is methodical and complete!
What's not so great: Extra security info at the end seems a little bit over the top.

Efficient & Fast. Allows a tax person to go directly to forms, if they choose to. No explanation why prior yrs State refund not shown as income, namely that with STANDARD DEDUCTION used this year, prior refund does NOT have to be shown as income.
