Getting Easier

Great job and easy to walk-through, still have a few problems in showing deductions.
What's great about it: Fast walkthrough
What's not so great: Difficult on deductions

Having extra accountant help for detailed questions, for instance, K-1 for oil sales of stock really help me last year. This year I didn't need that kind of help but knowing the service is available make doing it yourself a lot more settling.
What's great about it: easier to prepare every year.
What's not so great: occassionally doubles items, clarity on % of cost what figure you use total cost or adjusted cost.

Getting Worse

Wanted to snail mail my Federal return, but E-file the State. The old adage applies - want in one hand and fill the other with waste - which one fills up first?
Couldn't set up to e-File State once I chose to snail mail the fed return. Why can't state be treated separately for filing as it has been in the past?
Issues with 1099-Misc entry. Help was of no value. Finally found the problem and corrected it. Wasted more than thirty high value minutes.
Entered a casualty loss, then couldn't go back to it. Later found casualty loss and walked through the Easy Guide. No idea where the first entry went.
NO WAY TO INCREASE FONT SIZE. I'm getting old and almost needed a magnifying glass to read the screen.

Couldn't have done it myself

I would never have been able to get thru this without turbo tax. The IRS makes it very complicated but TT broke it down for me.
I'll use them every year from now on.

Worse This Year

After efiling my Federal return, TurboTax would not offer a paper return for one of my State returns. Why would I efile a zero State return! Had to print from pdf. Very annoying! 2015 doesn't offer forms view which was available in previous years. Could not complete Form 5695.
What's great about it: Import \s previous returns
What's not so great: Difficult to file paper return; Lack of access to forms

I wasn't sure if I can do my own taxes but step by step it was easy , and I took all the time that I needed to choose the right answer and to think about my best choice, really not pressure of time!! It too me one week to finished it because I did it in my free time but my info was safe and available on the right step I left the last time that I was filing... for a busy mom, student and wife it was great!!!
What's great about it: quick, safe

I have used Turbo Tax for many years, & it has always satisfied me, both on using it & results it has provided me.
I am happy I didn't have to consult the community this time because I always found it a little frustrating.

What's not so great: Didn't seem to transfer all my data from 2014

Turbo Tax getting easier to use

TURBO TAX 2015 HOME AND BUSINESS SEEMS TO GET EASIER TO USE. BEING ABLE TO SWITCH TO FORM VIEW AND BACK IS GREAT AND REALLY PROVES THAT TURBO TAX WALK THROUGH RELEASES MY STRESS.

What's not so great: none
