Easy Peasy

I have a small business selling antiques and collectibles in a store where there are other clients doing the same thing. I don't make a lot of money doing it, but I enjoy the shop so much! Using Turbo Tax makes it easy to file my business taxes right along with my personal income taxes and I love the convenience of doing both with one simple to use program.
I will be using Turbo Tax every year!
What's great about it: Easy to file both personal and business
What's not so great: nothing

What's great about it: Easy to use in 99.9% of the time. Acurate, quick computations. Question format steers you in right direction.
What's not so great: None really. You folks seem to improve your product each year to ese use ansd accuracy. Thanks for that.

Filing made easy!

I have used TurboTax for several years as it has made tax filing much easier even with the complexities of owning a small business, having investments, and having adult children as students. I have always thought that taxes should never be too complex to be able to do on your own; and, TurboTax is definitely more economical than going to a tax preparer or accountant. Since I use TurboTax for a small business, the Audit Defense gives me security knowing that someone will be in my corner if we ever have to go through an audit. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
What's great about it: I really value the step-by-step process and the ability to search for answers to questions
What's not so great: Could use more direction for first-time filers over age 16
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

So Easy to Use

I have been using Turbo tax for many years with positive success. Being self employed, I need to get as many deductions as I can and Turbo Tax helps do that. Keep up the good work!!
What's great about it: Easy to use. I was able to get my semi complicated taxes done in one sitting.
What's not so great: Too many questions, but then i guess they are necessary so people can get the ost deductions.

used home office. not so good for truck owner operator. hard to find certain places for deductions. like empty miles. where to put per diem. fuel used. most of it was for car expenses.

Download of data and correct recording from financial institution has been much improved compared to earlier versions. Actually worked pretty well today.

Turbo Tax is a junky, buggy program

And the profession was only 10 characters. But when you try to change it you cannot and the whole system locks up and you cannot file electronically in NY which is against the law. So now I am filling on paper.
What's great about it: It has all the forms
What's not so great: It locks up and has a bug in 2015 where it will not let you file because it says that the spouse profession was to Long
