Very easy for even detailed returns

TurboTax is always up-to-date and continues to be user friendly. An excellent software at a reasonable price.
What's great about it: I own a home-based business and with turboTax I feel confident in doing my own taxes and have used it for years.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Less Stress

I wish the I could just enter the information on the business and it would let me choose if this is for a business or for my spouses job expense. It is a little confusing with the two separate sections. I have been using Turbo Tax since 2006 and very happy with the results
What's great about it: I appreciate the guidance for business income and deductions
What's not so great: There is the personal section for business expenses and the business section for independent contractor work.

Taxes: From taxing to EZ!

I have been a customer of TurboTax for about 20 years, and recommend it highly based on my experiences. I am currently using the Home and Business product but have also used Business and Personal products separately in the past. All have worked well and remain focused on two major tracks: getting it right (including audit support and defense), and getting the best bang for your buck, whether it is maximizing your refunds or minimizing your bills. From very simple to extremely complex, I trust TurboTax completely.
What's great about it: Excellent product line; very high performing software; timely updates; gets ir right & maximizes refund.
What's not so great: None that I am aware of!

Still cumbersome and segmented

Need to more fully explain Social Security, and whether or not to include it. Need to make more apparent just where one inserts estimated payments made.
Overall, it's a good program and this will be the fifth year I've used it, I believe.

What's great about it: Can do it at home, provides some assistance but not live chat with agent
What's not so great: Difficult to insert estimated payments. should be more apparent.

All in all it has improved since last year. My suggestion would be to get someone that doesn't use a computer everyday to give feedback at improvement meetings.
What's great about it: better than last year, more user friendly
What's not so great: still not showing forms/worksheets during questions

I had a harder time than usual with Turbo Tax this year. Some areas were just not explained very well for the average person to understand and I had a hard time finding the help I needed.
What's great about it: wallked me through pretty good
What's not so great: Some areas were not explained very well and I could not find the answer

The ease of entering your own information, only what you want to enter, is terrific. I have no doubt my returns are filed accurately when using TurboTax.
