I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years but last year was a complete nightmare. Had problems downloading the Premier and then the Home and Office and ended up copying everything and using snail mail to file my taxes.
This year I had a problem with Schedule C because it was not available under the Business Section. Ended up going through the Forms Tab which gave me only a small amount of the form and had to keep scrolling to see more.
What's great about it: Mostly like the ease of entering my numbers
What's not so great: Had a big problem filling out my Schedule C; had to use the form tab could only see a small part

Easy Tax Prep

Turbo Tax is easy to use and reliable. There are many resources available and easy to access if you have questions. If you use Turbo Tax the next year, it will automatically input and compare data from previous year. However, there is no cloud system, so if you get a new computer you will have to start over (unless you saved the info on disk or external drive).
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: could use some kind of a cloud. Got a new computer and had to start all over again this year

Couple issues,but good

As usual ,pretty good,but could use an online backup of last years return for those of us who buy the cd. 2computers and a backup drive I used crashed so all i had was a pdf. My own fault,but an online backup sure would have been good Made it hard starting over and having no comparisons yoy,etc. Had one investment form that wouldn't download,while another from the same company did fine. Don't know if it was the turbo end or the company downloading from. Would like more info,links,help when during the review the program takes you to the questionable area,but no explanation of the problem,just a highlight. One of which at least had been entered properly,but not recognized or transferred

Love how easy and quick TurboTax is to use!

I love how easy TurboTax is to use and it costs significantly less than some of the other software out there and definitely less than hiring a tax accountant for a single return while leaving me confident that it is done right the first time.
What's great about it: Speed, ease of use
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Good helper

Gives good step by step to the process to help you make sure you didn't miss anything. If there is something unusual, however, it often doesn't accept the adjustments.
What's great about it: Helps guide through the process
What's not so great: Sometimes inflexile with unusual situations

Best software for the money for doing taxes.
What's great about it: Most of your data is copy from last form if you used turbo the year before,

Invented and inserted wrong numbers

TT inserted $837 into Other Withholding - a section I had not even visited. Had to print out all the forms to locate where it had inserted the number, and then backtrack to locate the section where that number had been inserted to remove it.
Flagged a location where I did not have the information available at the time I was going through the survey questions, but when I clicked on the flag later, TT could not find the location.
TT software updates - pretty much every week - run around 150 MB each time. This is a MASSIVE amount of bandwidth and internet time for a low-bandwidth rural internet connection.
What's great about it: Survey system hits most situations
What's not so great: Flagging to return loses track; inserts wrong numbers; MASSIVE updates

Program is Improving

After saving my return and exiting to continue later. It restarted about half way from the location where I left off. This is a huge waste of time. It did this twice.
There were several times that I was referred to the IRS Pub without any section or page number to help better located the info I needed. I expect the info to be in Turbo Tax with a reference for verifications purposes only. If someone is reading IRS Pubs they just as well do the paper forms and not go back and forth between the software and IRS Forms.
What's great about it: Calcuations are Fast
What's not so great: Have to refer to IRS Pubs
