Good - but expensive

The program is comprehensive and easy to use but does not get 5 stars because of its price relative to other programs. If your taxes are not very complicated, you may be better served going elsewhere.
What's great about it: comprehensive; easy to use

Made a Complicated Return Easy

TurboTax is a professional tax tool designed for use by amateurs. It has an excellent user interface that makes it efficient for both new users and experienced tax preparers.
The healthcare portion is very complicated, but Intuit can't be blamed for the complexity of the Affordable Care Act.
What's great about it: Great for Sched C, D, E
What's not so great: none

not user friendly fed to state business info

bought the home & business version because of small business-was hoping for easy transfer of info from fed to state and the vehicle use for business purpose was incorrect when transferred to state with no way to back out data.
What's great about it: personal info easy to input
What's not so great: business info transfer from fed to state was not correct

Makes Tax Season Less Painful

Great job, TurboTax, of updating the program and making tax season less taxing. This year's software was very intuitive and required far less updating.

Help with security question

I couldn't remember the answer to my security question and couldn't get to a reset for my account. The solution was to call the help contact and use the various codes to make payment. However, I still don't have the answer to the security question that I will need for next years payment. So how do I get it or reset it?

Better than years past

2015 version shows improvement. Explanations and drop down info are better and easier to use. Also, it is easier to navigate through the various sections, though, it can still be challenging to find specific fields you knew you entered data in.
What's great about it: Improved over the past couple of years.
What's not so great: Occasionally, still difficult to find fields.

I use Turbo Tax every year - it's easy and the step-by-step helps me make sure that I haven't overlooked an area. Great review tool too!
