Probably my last year using turbo tax

I have been using turbo tax since it first came out. Each year they change it and make it more complicated and cost more money. Next year I will have a tax company do my return.

Good But Still Needs Work

Suggestions: We we have to go back and click through steps again, have it remember what we clicked the previous time. When things need to be corrected during reviews, have a link to click to take you to the form or place it needs to be corrected. Trying to find these locations with cryptic info from Turbo Tax is frustrating.

I was sent to this review, but have not yet file my state and local taxes. Is it going to get to that?
What's great about it: tries to do all the calculation correctly
What's not so great: makes one wonder if it remembers things like state and local taxes

2015 Taxes

Been using it for over 10 years and it gets easier to use every year. Has saved me a lot of money doing it thru turbo tax . THANKS

What I missed

Could not find where to put the energy efficiency (windows, doors, etc.) made on a rental property.

Best Software for Taxes

My biggest disappoint had to do with not being able to do a Schedule K-1 for a IRRV. I had to go out and have an account prepare it for me.
What's great about it: Like the interviews and the community.
What's not so great: Doesn't have TT Business for MAC. Can't print page working on.

Took Me 40 Hours - Saved Me 120 Hours

Excellent overall service options and the product worked as expected - flawlessly. The Home & Business product is comparably simple to use, but it really helps to either (a) know the basics from prior experience and/or (b) to take the time to learn about changes to tax laws, codes, etc. during the process of filing taxes. I really do trust Turbo Tax and the guidance made available through its products and services. I highly recommend its use for any professional, regardless of whether they have very simple tax filing needs or complex business filing requirements.
What's great about it: As always, the walk-through questions are very helpful.
What's not so great: Having more than one income source for portion of the year may be somewhat challenging to file with clarity
