Meets our needs

We've used TurboTax Home and Business for several years. It meets our needs quite well. Our forms matching issue was on the Schedule Cs (created from the 1099s). We ended up with 3 when we needed two. It took some editing to straighten it out. Somewhere along the way, we got partnership forms erroneously generated. Fortunately, deleting them fixed the problem.
What's great about it: Comprehensive
What's not so great: Connecting some items between years

Great for a small business

I've been using TurboTax Home & Business for the past seven years. I do consulting and have an LLC. It walks me through the tax filing for the business with ease. Highly recommended.

Much easier to use than in the past few years.
What's great about it: Much easier to use than last year or two, FAQs better and more helpful.
What's not so great: Miss the CPA videos

This was my first year doing taxes on my own. The software made everything straightforward and it explained every nuance in simple terms. The only issue I had was when I tried to jump backwards to check an earlier entry and had to cycle through the whole process, clicking through each category to find the entry that I needed. A means of searching for keywords and numbers would have been helpful. But that was a small annoyance compared to how useful and easy the software was.

I pay extra for the premium version because I have many investment transactions that I download from my investment adviser. TurboTax crashes and I have to truncate my investment transactions in order to keep Turbo Tax from crashing. This is time consuming. You need to allow more line items in your software.

Overall Turbo tax home and business for TY 2015 was very good and easy to use. It handled what I thought were pretty complicated situations.
What's great about it: good links to help
What's not so great: sometimes when I go back to review a section I have to reanswer questions. Like to zero to more specific sections

XP support

I only use 1 computer for all my tax work and upgrade is not possible
What's great about it: works good
What's not so great: XP needs to be an alternative for thousands of users
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
