I Count on TurboTax

I rely on TurboTax and have for many years. In many ways, it seems to get easier and easier to use, year by year. I had 3 areas this year where I did have some trouble figuring out what was going on. I did, of course, go to the IRS site for some help, but it still seemed a bit difficult.
I certainly plan on using TurboTax next year, again!
What's great about it: Reliable
What's not so great: Some trouble this year

Great Tax Software

Turbo Tax Software makes it easy to do your taxes. It walks you through everything so that nothing gets missed along the way. We use it every year.

Incredible customer service

Intricacies of K - 1 stymied E-filing my returns. Tenacity of Customer Service rectified the problem and allowed E-filing to proceed. Kudus to your Customer Service!

Corrections before filing

1. I inadvertently made several incorrect and duplicate entries. For instance, I entered my home sale twice, entered incorrect adjusted home basis. I completed the section and later discovered the error. It was extremely difficult to go back to delete/correct the error (could not edit the box).
2. In another attempt to correct #1, I went to the forms index and selected the form with the error. Thinking that I would delete it and redo, I selected the form for deletion but it did not.
3. On federal return, I needed to record farm land rental income. I did so under farm income form but was subsequently redirected to Rents and Royalties where I re-entered the data. It was very difficult to see if this was now recorded twice and I'm still not sure although I went ahead and filed.

Easy Peezee Using Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax to do my taxes for the last 10 years. It will walk you step by step through the whole process or, if you are more experienced, you can save time by going directly to your form to start entering your figures on your own. I feel its a good product for every level of experience with taxes.
What's great about it: Extremely easy to use as you are guided step by step

Awesome as usual

Again, Intuit provide a great product, easy to use and provide for an additional fee, some insurance to deal with any potential interactions with taxing agency. I only wish I could see more details when I compare to previous year
What's great about it: simple, imports from last year
What's not so great: would like to have the details and not just summary values from previous year(s)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
