2015 Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax has made doing my returns so much easier. Love this software! Like the Audit Defense subscription as well; gives me peace of mind. Already done with this year's return -Jan 30.
What's great about it: easy to use

I love how turbo tax guides you through each topic making it easy to understand, however, sometimes it gets very confusing on where to put a certain deduction because there are several places it can go, and you do not make it clear on where. Such as we sold a second home, that we had also used as a rental property, and I had a hard time determining "where" the particular sale went... I like the added security and protection for identity theft and tax fraud, but it was a little complicated for me, since i do my entire familys taxes, and had to attain the new information at later dates... Such as I live in TX, my son in HI, and time zones, work schedules and such put off the filing of his taxes, because I needed the new information to file for him.
What's great about it: Love the ease of preperation and guidance
What's not so great: Sometimes confusing on where to put what cuz of duplicaitons
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I really did enjoy the ease of the software.
What's great about it: Very Easy to use
What's not so great: The software is not cheap
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

IP PIN

I get a letter from the IRS every year for probably the last 6-7 years because I was a victim of Identity theft so I know I need to enter it but this year I could not find where to enter it I had to search all over and finally found the answer, If this is not filled in I think Turbo Tax should prompt the user by questioning if they received one and then provide a link to the area that is to be inserted. I used home and business this year instead of the deluxe version maybe that is why it was difficult.
What's great about it: Very easy to enter data
What's not so great: Except when it came to enter IP PIN
Pros: I bought or sold investments
