Nice Experience

TurboTax helps competent taxpayers pull together their financial information and complete their tax returns in an orderly, inexpensive fashion. The process is intuitive and the forms are logically edit-able. If you keep track of your expenses and income during the year, TurboTax helps you file your taxes easily, inexpensively and seamlessly with the software you use to keep your financial records. Well done, Intuit!
What's great about it: Intuitive, Comprehensible

I like your software. It is thorough, flexible, easy to use, and takes a real load off me and my life.
Please quit charging for the state e-file, it feels like you are piling on.
With a tax return filled with personal identity information - you then want all the particulars from our drivers licenses. This makes us feel incredibly insecure. The proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. I feel the super secure password given to you last year is all the security information you need. We will mail this year's return in.
What's great about it: Your software is swell! Easy to use, thorough, and flexable.
What's not so great: On top of all the confidential info on my return - now you want drivers license info - NO

Would not print copies correctly

Wouldn't print copies correctly using print buttons in TurboTax Program. Printed empty boxes in place of numerical data on all but 1 of 24 pages. Using early 2009 iMac with OS X El Capitan version 10.11.4 and HP OfficeJet 4655 printer that prints everything else correctly. Had to save a separate PDF copy and print with Acrobat.
What's great about it: Pretty easy to fill out; transferred from last year.
What's not so great: Would not print copies correctly using print buttons in TurboTax program.

Great help with the MN complications!

Thanks for your efforts to help us when states don't follow the fed as MN did in 2015 by not accepting several extensions that the Fed passed.
What's great about it: MN was mess this year and your instructions were great help.

Need to provide more help

If you are stuck in the middle, there is NO DIRECT HELP available via phone nor e-mail..!! You need to post your question online and someone who had similar question earlier, might have written a few pointers to resolve the issue. That is NOT appropriate help. I spent hours figuring out a solution to my business-related question...!!!
There must be a mechanism established by Turbo Tax accountants/experts to contact the users community who have quick questions, at least via direct e-mail contact instead of fishing through many responses by some users.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate for the Most part
What's not so great: No phone support or No Direct E-mail support is available AT ALL..!

I found that over the years, the program grows less clear and is harder to navigate, particularly if you are looking to adjust one number directly
What's great about it: Draws on prior year
What's not so great: Created unnecessary forms (K-1's), e-filing cumbersome, not clear if all forms for filing printed
