Improvement from couple of years

Much cleaner and stable platform that it was a couple of years back when that it was a disaster, at least for me.
Most headings are easy to find, but still sometimes is not clear where to place some of the deductions in business section, for example, deductions for online programs.
It was a good experience and will use it again.

What's great about it: Cleaner work-space, easier to find major titles
What's not so great: In business section, still is a little confusing where to enter deductions

Greatest tax software

What's not so great: not knowing which form is being used; not knowing some calculations

Great besides cost

The program itself is great and easy to use. However, the cost to e-file is crazy and the cost to file state tax in an extra state also costs a lot. Why do you pay so much for Turbo Tax and then have to still pay for so much! I may try a different filing service next year.
What's great about it: Very helpful and takes you through each step.
What's not so great: EVERYTHING costs!!! I didn't expect to have to pay for other services.

Happiness is being done with income taxes

I always figured the hardest part of filing income taxes was getting the income and expense records organized to give to the tax accountant. Now once I do that, it is a breeze to input numbers into Turbo Tax and it is done on time without extensions due to the accountant having to do most of the returns at the last minute.
What's great about it: Year to year consistency - easy to remember to include all income & expenses.
What's not so great: We still have to get the records together.

Another year of taxes handles with TurboTax!

After having a bit of a bother with TurboTax last year with regards to price and the filing of my second home and rental, I was hesitant to file with them again this year. But I did and am glad that I did so. Once I gathered all of my paperwork, it took me maybe an hour to get all of the fields completed and both state and federal e-filed. TurboTax really does the job. I've been using it for over twenty years - through divorces, rental and vacation properties, homes bought and sold. I still think it's the best tax prep out there.
What's great about it: Easy and quick
What's not so great: Still have to gather all of my paperwork as I don't have Quicken

Makes taxes filing much faster, more comprehensive, and simpler to review, and maximize returns.
What's great about it: simple to fill out / or work through interview
What's not so great: navigation much improved over previous years
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I had a baby, I moved

With help worked out glitches

Overall, good experience. Until the very end when it was time to eefile. Your rep was excellent and walked me all the way through.
TurboTax acknowledged that State andFed accepted. Waiting for State and Fed acknowled also. This is a follow up to my prior review.

What's great about it: Was easy, only had trouble with efiling but got help from Help Center Turbotax
What's not so great: Suggest better prepping for efile, glitches could have been avoided I think

Overall I love using Turbo Tax, having been using it since the 1980s.
What's great about it: Question and answer great / also like the ability to go back in process an see what happens if the input data changed.
What's not so great: Had problems finding subcategories for inputing expenses/income.
