Excellent As Always.

I've used TurboTax since 1991 and have never been disappointed.
The software easily and effortlessly walks you through every aspect of your tax forms without all the confusing verbage and formulas.

I have used Turbo Tax for 15 plus years. Some years have been better than others. This was not the best program year. It was a lot of back and forth. The navigation in the home and business program was very confusing. I had to discover on my own that my daughter would get back $1000.00 more if she simply did not take any deductions for the contract labor work she did. I will never "upgrade" again to the home and business program. A total waste of money.
What's great about it: I can work on my taxes at my pace.
What's not so great: When an error message comes up and tells you to fix it, include a direct link to the page. That way you can fix it quick
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Home and Business 2015

Overall, I do think the Home and Business software needs a little fine tuning. I have been using Turbo Tax for years and it seems like it is getting more difficult to use. I had to go outside of the program several times to get answers.
What's great about it: The question format is easy to maneuver through.
What's not so great: Some questions are worded confusing and the help infomation does not add a useful description.

Overall, a great product. makes filing taxes easy with basically normal tax info.

So helpful and easy to use

I didn't think I could ever do my own taxes but with Turbo Tax walking me through each step and providing helpful definitions and explanations I didn't just file, I understood what everything meant. Awesome.
What's great about it: the step by step instructions

Using Turbo Tax since 2005

I love using Turbo Tax. It is very easy to use. The only thing I tend to get confused on is the home office part. I am never really confident I am getting all the refund I should be from the home office.
What's great about it: Very easy to use.
What's not so great: Could use a little more direction on the home office piece.

Bugs and Glitches

I installed TT no problems but then it would not update.
I reinstalled (though it did not have a proper uninstaller) and this time it updated.
I tried importing my previous year's taxes so I could take advantage of TT's autofill feature, but it would not import them. I eventually got it to work by importing the pdf rather than the .tax2014 file.
TT required me to get a new password (it does this to me every year). I tried their password recovery and it said I did not exist as a previous user (though I have been using TT for years). I got a new password, again. Out of curiosity I tried their account recovery form again and again it said I was not a registered user. I tried looking it up through my wife and same story. Doesn't give me a whole lot of faith in their program if it can't even keep track of usernames and passwords.
I did all my taxes except for a few forms that I was waiting on. I saved and closed. When I got the forms I needed I opened TT and the four hours of work was gone. I opened the save file and it was completely blank - not even a way to enter new information. I started over and same issue.
I re-installed and finally it worked properly (at least I think so).
What's great about it: I like the tax walk-through
What's not so great: The program gives me technical issues and glitches every year.
Pros: I had a baby
