It's the best!

I've been using TurboTax in some form since the mid 1980s. As my tax situation became more complex (left a large corporation to become self employed), TTAX has made my life so much simpler. I'm sure I'm getting deductions I wouldn't otherwise have found, and I'm sure I'd be paying a tax professional much more for doing my taxes. Thank you for a great product!
What's great about it: Easy to follow; covers the bases.
What's not so great: Not sure anyone can make sense of Affordable Care Act...even TurboTax

What's great about it: Turbotax fills out all the forms and provides work sheets and brings in carryovers.
What's not so great: The logic and some of the termonology is a bit to get use to.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used turbotax for many years .It has worked well for me however it seems to have become more complicated,this could be caused by IRS
What's great about it: covered everything
What's not so great: State tax filing very confusing no way to file by mail.

Turbo Tax has always been a straightforward process, what I would hope for is more comprehensive list of possible deductions, I always feel like I'm leaving something on the table.
What's great about it: Straightforward process
What's not so great: Want more detail of potential deductions.

can't do simple necessary things

Always liked Turbotax in the past, but this year it felt awkward and unwieldy. For example, every time I tried to check something in a previous return, the software tried to replace the corrected, current information with last years. I couldn't just open it to look at it. Why?? And this year it seemed harder to move between the forms and the turbo questionaire. It always seemed fairly intuitive before, but this year, not so much. ETC.

Overall a nice job

The application is straight forward and can accommodate several levels of experience with return preparation. I've used the Turbo Tax for many years and always found the calculations to be accurate.
It would be nice if you had a history feature (like photoshop) so, if you make a mistake (like removing a form filled with information) you can back up and restore to the location that you need. I deleted an asset from my business and could not find a way to restore it.
I did not appreciate the requirement that I provide my telephone number and email address for you to process my credit card. You don't need that information to process a payment and I'm offended that I had no choice if I wanted to get my return filed.
What's great about it: Easy, reliable process, as always
What's not so great: You don't need my email and phone number to process my credit card payment.

Turbotax Improved

While input seemed easier and more straightforward in this version, if detail was needed to check the input, it is available by choosing the individual form and worksheet views.
What's great about it: Data entry for the 2015 version was more streamlined and clearly defined than in past versions.
What's not so great: Program speed - ;ong load time
