A breeze

At the start of a new return, when transferring the previous year's information, there should be a screen/message of some kind to ensure the latest previous year's file is transferred. I save my files in external storage. Should be able to direct TT to where the file is stored.
What's great about it: Easier to navigate thsn previous years
What's not so great: just a few nits...

AWESOME & EASY

TurboTax takes an excruciating, impossible task, makes it doable and completes it with confidence. I don't know what we'd do without them. Great software. Very user friendly. Thank you for continuing to make it better year after year.
What's great about it: Very easy to understand
What's not so great: Didn't know how to fix mistakes in review section.

Have used Turbo Tax for over 15 years. Excellent Program. FYI, for each time I had to enter a different nickname because the one I chose was "taken already," you lost a star.
What's great about it: Easy To Follow Steps
What's not so great: Needs More Detailed Instructions Regarding Supplemental Forms

Special Needs filing

Turbo tax is Extremely difficult to work our Autistic adult son's tax info into the program. I am still not even certain I did it correctly. There needs to be a section build into the program for special needs cases such as Autism, Asperger, low and higher function disability cases. 1 in 60 children in the US are born with special needs and us parents need some turbo-tools to deal with the life long tax implications. Please HELP. If Turbotax offered this feature I would 1000% use it again for 2016 but in the mean while I will search for a better tax program
What's great about it: Much easier to handle K1's
What's not so great: Special Needs EXTREMELY DIFFICULT

I was going to file my NE return and it said you program doesn't support form 180. why?
I find it hard to find my repair area on review. All is good after I looked it over a little more.

Great for planning too

it makes tax time easy, but it's also good for planning ahead. After saving your return you can go back and adjust number to see how your return is affected. Good for planning for tax advantages in the coming year.
What's great about it: Program easily walks you through each step. Links to the IRS descriptions and further information are easily accessible
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

It would be nice if when going back to a section already filled out that TurboTax would remember ALL of the questions previously answered.
Need more detail to go with questions
What's great about it: can do it myself
What's not so great: question details not clear
