I like it

I've used Turbo tax since 2009 and i still like it. Just don;t like error correction. It just shows the form where the error is and doesn't guide you on how to correct it.
What's great about it: step by step and easy to follow
What's not so great: error correction doesn't give any help. No way to know how to fix the errors except to guess!

Still using T-Tax

Overall, I can't imagine anything that could be easier to use. I've taken a look at doing these tax items by hand and you'd think the government designed the tax forms they are so complicated. Turbotax makes it possible. Otherwise I'd be going to a CPA.
What's great about it: Easy as it can get for DIY taxes.
What's not so great: Some things are still confusing...(it's taxes)

Easy to Use

I've been using TT for about 10 years now and find it very simple to use, as long as you are organized and have all your income statements ready. I feel more in control of my taxes and decisions using TT. It's reliable and fool proof - if you have common sense. I've never been audited.
What's great about it: Guided step-by-step filing process; transfers information from previous year, can go back and make changes, interactive
What's not so great: none really; too simple?
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I Wouldn't Use Anything Else

I have used this tool for close to a decade. I upgraded to the Personal and Business Version when I became an independent contractor.
What's great about it: Guided Entry but can also go to specific area you want to edit
What's not so great: None

Stable and consistent program - works great!

I've been using this product for several years. It is easy to use, each year it copies my key data so I do not have to re-enter and returns are easy to file. I save money by using this product and I am able to track the status while it is processing.
What's great about it: easy to use, cost effective, takes care of all of the complicated form finding, functional help program
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

It is very simple to understand. Step by step instructions make it simple and having further descriptions on topics makes it easier to understand.
What's great about it: Step by step
What's not so great: when working thru topic and finish, it kicks you back to the top of the list--not where you left off
