TurboTax is essential and easy to use

TurbTax is fairly easy to use and very intuitive. Needs some work in the pension eligibility area, sometimes confusing terms.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: navigation is sometimes confusing

Software glitch

Had to call tech support twice - updater does not work but tech staff able to send manual link.

Love the product!!

Great product & makes tax return process very easy. I finish my taxes in about an hour because TT allows opening of prior year return, make adjustments to income, deductions, etc...and your done!
What's great about it: Able to open prior year return, make adjustments, done!!

First Time Turbo Tax User

I was quite pleased with this product as a first time user. The questions were easy to navigate and I got through it pretty quickly. I had some issues with entering my MA state healthcare coverage information. I was covered under two separate insurances and the form I received from one of them was not represented on Turbo Tax. I also had some trouble at the end because it was not clear what pages I needed to print for my return. When I went to file I also had a small issue with a notification that there was still something wrong with my return, but no specifics were given. For some reason I also could not efile and it was unclear why. So I am left to file by mail with some possible errors on my return. Overall, things appeared easy until I reached then end. Printing my return took up a significant amount of time compared to how long it took to navigate through all of the questions. Aside from the quirks at the end, this product was worth buying.
What's great about it: easy to answer questions, easy to navigate
What's not so great: did not have my personal healthcare coverage situation for state return, did not tell me what was wrong w/my return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Awesome Tax Prep Software

I've been using quicken all the way back to the first beta (how long ago was that?) The product always performs. I using both Quicken and Turbo Tax and my self prep tax worries disappear. Turbo Tax import ,info directly from Quicken.
What's great about it: Easy and Manual Input of Tax Information . You can pick and choose to suit your workflow
What's not so great: Haven't run into any negatives yet

Needs Work on Depreciation Schedules

What's not so great: Did not calculate depreciation and pick right Standard Deduction versus Actual Expenses

Works Great for Me

Been using many years - works great. I do go to the individual forms occasionally to avoid the lengthly and comprehensive questioning - when I know what goes where. Like that ability as an alternative.
