Great, product I don't use anything else.
What's great about it: It was pretty easy and went through everything I needed
What's not so great: it had a lot of unnessasarry questions I didn't need.

Makes the complicated simple!

This is the 16th year I've used TurboTax. Really simplifies prep time to import data from prior year. Biggest plus is as return has gotten more complicated with K1's, rental property, investments, etc., the process could hardly be easier. Intuit has converted the arcane IRS legalese into an understandable language. Without TurboTax to generate 101 pages of Federal and 3 state returns, I'd be forced to hire a CPA to prep!
What's great about it: Easy to use, follow
What's not so great: Navigating between sections and returning to prior spot, steep charge for e-filing state returns
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Effortless usage and the system asked questions I never thought would be asked. Purchase of the software was a excellent investment.
What's great about it: Very easy to submit information and questions were simple to understand
What's not so great: N/A

Good but harder than it should to delete forms

Had great difficulty getting rid of K1 from business we are no longer involved with. Even harder to get rid of PA RK1. Instructions said place zero in each field to delete, THAT DIDN'T WORK. Finally deleted them from the forms view, that's not listed in the instructions.
Good product!, just not perfect.

Love it, but

Although I like TurboTax, and have used it for many years I still find it frustrating that the program periodically displays a comparison between the current year's return and the previous year's, but doesn't let me print those comparisons. To print them I have to use "print screen" tools. Also I'd like to be able to see what Schedule A would look like if I used the itemized deductions that I have entered rather than just seeing a statement that TurboTax has decided the standard deduction is better choice for me. Finally, I was frustrated by TurboTax entering a 3rd ("other witholdin") 1099 Form on my MI state worksheet when I only had entered information for the 2 1099s I actually received. The program then wouldn't let me remove the 3rd entry or finish or file my state tax without filling in a "Payer's Federal identification number". Other than that it was great.
What's great about it: Generally easy to use
What's not so great: Difficult to do anything out of the routine
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great experience but a couple flaws

Needs a a delete button for 1099-Misc forms that may be entered in error and reinstating the "No 1099 Received" option.
Paying for Audit Defense and State E-file by credit card continuously failed and both required calling Support to complete the transactions. I have been using TurboTax since, I believe, 1986. This is the first time I can remember it rating anything below 5 Stars.
