Intuit credit card area times out too quickly. All my frustration occurred in this area.
What's great about it: I see continuous improvement year-to-year
What's not so great: Health care & health ins areas not real clear. Especially terminalogy

Have used Turbo Tax for years

As a WI resident who works in MN I honestly cannot recommend Turbo Tax e-file. The tax prep is burdensome (some of the forms you have to fill out as if you were doing it on a paper form). If you e-file Turbo Tax doesn't send WI everything it needs to process your taxes. Then WI sends you a letter to send the missing documents from your tax return from the non-reciprocal state. It is easier to use WI's online e-file than to use Turbo Tax - and it is FREE! . Won't make that mistake again.
I may continue to use Turbo Tax for Federal taxes but definitely not for the state of Wisconsin.
What's great about it: Federal tax prep is comprehensive
What's not so great: WI filing and tax prep stinks - will do without Turbo Tax in future

Very useful and easy-to-use program!

I've been using Turbo Tax for Mac for many years now and plan on continuing to use it. Used the Small Business program which worked out perfect for me. In addition to completing my returns, this yearly experience also educates me on the latest changes and gives me a good understanding of our complicated income tax process.
What's great about it: Straight forward and easy to use.
What's not so great: None that I came across.

I have been using Turbo Tax for a number of years and it is the easiest and fastest way to file your taxes. Sometimes they throw me a curve, but I just go to the help line and it helps figure out what I need to do,

Software bug in CA State tax!

The CA state return has my estimated tax due amount duplicated as withholding. This means it shows exactly TWICE the amount that should appear. CA will taje a dim view of a return claiming a refund that was even more than the total tax paid in 2015!
Being self-employed I had no withholding at all listed in my personal income. The CA software has put in my estimated tax payments as withholding too! I have already spent THREE DAYS trying to do something about this! BAD, BAD (and very obvious) software bug.

Another Turbo Year

There has been a lot of improvement in Turbo Tax over the last few years. It has made data entering easier and speeding up form fill out. It has helped to reduce mistakes.
What's great about it: The interface has improved. Working between the business and personnal was easier. Helps improved information support.

Too many K-1 issues even after I downloaded the Turbo Tax Friendly Version of the K-1 from MLP's.
Great support from the phone call
What's great about it: Easy Access on my own
What's not so great: Downloading K-1's not explained at all...had to call
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
