Purchasing iBonds Still Messed Up

Purchase of iBonds is still pretty much impossible. Program won't allow you to purchase the maximum and then put all the rest of your refund towards next year's taxes. People have been complaining about this for years.

Very Thorough

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and it has steadily become easier to use and covers all areas of my taxes. I like all the business products available. It save me time and aggravation when it comes to filing my taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to use and find answers
What's not so great: Nothing I can think of
Pros: I bought or sold investments

should remove worksheet properly

When an item is deleted, its related worksheets are left. And turbo tax keeps asking me to fill in text for the worksheet. And it stops me from e-filing. This is very annoying. Turbo tax should behave consistently, regardless I add/delete the same item multiple times.
What's great about it: convenient
What's not so great: not error free
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Accountant's quick take

Software is easy to go through, but I feel for any items but the most basic of 1040 issues, there's no transparency or readily available help to get further clarity to assist with decision-making. Ex: Nanny Taxes or planning for next years taxes. I'd like to see a form of recommendation or more information provided from the software about situations, for example, notices about how items entered have affected the tax return (i.e. when filer enters a new tax bracket or effect of large item entering their return for the period).
Other than that, add free state E-file (2015 tax year and no free state e-file... really?) and it's a guaranteed recommended-use from me.

still great after eight years, lots of help. having to rescroll from the start after each topic is annoying. I don't remember that from previous years. am I wrong

Easy, Excellent, and Effective

We have used Intuit TurboTax for over 18 years. It has proven to be an invaluable asset when it comes to handing our many sources of income including ministerial, honorariums, piano studio, and social security incomes. The use of the program is a breeze needing the user to only fill in the information step by step using the clear and concise instructions. We always buy the added protection even though we have never had to use it - worth the peace of mind!
What's great about it: Simple, straight forward, fast, accurate, user friendly, good value for the money
