Great program, but it didn't want to take my money

Great program that helps you double check your work, walks you through lots of variables. I have been using Turbo Tax for years and love it.
Only one problem (and I think I had the same problem last year) was when it came time to bill my credit card for the State filing it wouldn't let me reset my password. Tried four times and each time it gave me a new answer - I guess the website was trying to keep it fresh but all it did was tick me off. TAKE MY MONEY!! Anyway, I was able to bypass it by not using my Intuit account and voila it worked fine.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything
What's not so great: Idiotic billing section

Very Good but

I needed to delete a 1099 MISC and it was not obvious how to do it. I tried the HELP facility but it omitted the easy way to do this. There is a FORMS item at the very top which is bot active, instead you must use the FORMS icon on the upper left.
What's great about it: Went through the process in great detail.
What's not so great: Correcting a problem was complicated.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Gets Easier every year
on April 3, 2016
Posted by: GvmHeck
Don't know if it's me or the program, but this year seemed to be the easiest one yet (I've been using turbo tax for my s-corp for about 10 years and personal returns for about 15 years). No surprises, just a little bit of frustration trying to understand how to enter self paid health care premiums when receiving salary from S-Corp.
What's great about it: Walked me through everything and effortlessly uploaded info from previous year
What's not so great: A little trouble finding/understanding how to enter self paid health care premiums as 100% risk with S-Corp

This customer did not provide a text review.
What's great about it: Good user interface. Covers all of the cases with good explanation
What's not so great: Minor bugs. Forms don't get deleted after going through the interview again with different settings
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I moved

Great software

I like this software. I've been using it for years. This year's version was probably the best. It is simple and easy. The guides are so helpful. I found going back and forth between the actual tax forms and turbotax's forms very easy.
What's great about it: Easy, quick and efficient

Frustrating
on April 3, 2016

It is hard to understand the questions, so I know I don't get all my refund coming to me. If my wife would just pay a little more to a professional accountant, I am sure that would pay for itself. Plus the E file or the state is extra.
What's great about it: None
What's not so great: Hard to follow.
