Love Turbo Tax

I have a small business and use the Home and Business to do my taxes and fill out the 1099s for our contractors. I love this program, I've used it 5+ years and I'm going to use it next year too. Follow the instructions and you will be on your way to maximizing your deductions.
What's great about it: Easily guided through and fast
What's not so great: Some sections can be a little hard to understand on rare occasions

The product is always great but I always have a problem downloading the updates. Every year I end up manually downloading and always have problems with that as well.

Analysis does not consider a pastor's exempt wages

1. We have a pastor, who's wages are exempt from social security & medicare insurance. Your analysis kept telling me to correct our records.
2. The State of Wisconsin wrote to me last year and told me what number to use on the w2's and 1099's. Your analysis kept telling me I had too many numbers. It's the same number I used last year. However last year I had to resubmit the 1099's because Turbo Tax did not print the State number on the 1099 form.

Turbo Tax for the average Joe

I havo used Turbo Tax every year since it became available. If you have common sense, you should be able to do your taxes with this product. You need not be apprehensive, the program will answer any questions you may have.
What's great about it: Program walks you through all you need to know
What's not so great: Cant think of any Cons

What's great about it: able to print out 1099's and 1096 and mail in
What's not so great: No really/ but my tax situation is complicated and questions asked sometimes do not pertain or leave out my situtaion
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
