Been using TurboTax since it was invented!!!

I literally have been using TurboTax since it started!!! I've been through two IRS audits and came out off the audits with the IRS owing us money because of my great ability to save receipts and the clear guidance of TurboTax. You really don't need to be an accountant or CPA or math genius to use TurboTax. All the questions are presented to you in a logical, orderly fashion and in plain English. Don't know what I'd do without it!!!
What's great about it: Good directions and questions
What's not so great: Still have to compile all my numbers myself

I have bought the program for several years now and it has been great.
This year was difficult because it treated my AK PFD as business income wanting all Business Information I found this highly irritating.

Almost as good as last year

I'm sure you won't publish this, but I'm hoping someone will read it. The new security features in EFile made it impossible for me to use, causing me trouble and costing you revenue.
I file my own return and one for a friend. He could not file the federal because he couldn't get the necessary codes. He never filed an original return last year... his spouse filed a married filing separately return followed by an amended return as a joint return. That doesn't fit any of the categories. He couldn't file a state because you have to Efile the federal to be eligible.
I file a joint return for Federal and a married filing separately for my wife. She lives in Massachusetts; I live in Washington. The fact that I had filed Federally did not allow me to file her state form based on a dummy federal return.
So Efile failed for me in three out of four cases. You should lobby the states to change the rules to reenable this valuable feature.
What's great about it: Easily found where to put all my information
What's not so great: Problems with efile

Awesome and simple

Have been using TurboTax for years. I switched to the Home & Business version 2 yrs ago. Just as easy and intuitive as the Premier version. I have several income categories and I can still get my taxes done in a few hrs. Certainly less time than I would need if I used an accountant.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Exaplanations are great.

This would be the fifth year for me to use Turbo Tax for my tax return. It's so easy to understand the steps and I can finish my filing very quickly.

It Just Gets Better with Time!!!

I've been using turbotax for 20 years. Because of my business, my taxes are very complicated but, turbotax does an outstanding job of covering all aspects of it. Each year the software gets better and, complicated subjects become easier to address. Because of the continued improvements, it takes me less time each year to file my taxes. I guess you could say that turbotax just gets better with time.
