Awesome and Easy

I enjoyed the process tremendously as is was very easy to follow even though my taxes were complicated.
What's great about it: Very intuitive and easy to follow
What's not so great: Can't think of any
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I moved

Love TurboTax!

I have used Turbo tax for 7 years. I do consulting as a side business and the Home & Business edition makes it easy for me to input business income and get the business-related deductions I am eligible for. I love this program, it makes filing taxes as painless as it can be. The fact that I can import data from Quicken and It's Deductible make getting my maximum deduction easy.
Highly Recommend using this.
What's great about it: Easy to use, Helps you fill out forms, finds deductions you might have missed

I have used Turbo Tax for years and will to continue to use it. They always do a great job.
What's great about it: Checks and Rechecks everything
What's not so great: Nothing

Have used TurboTax for many years, disappointed in having to upgrade to expensive home & business version the past 2 years to complete schedule D.
What's great about it: good integration with downloaded investment account
What's not so great: too many and difficult to distinguish catagories in medical deductions

life is good again

i started my own business this year and was dreading taxes this year but it wasn't that hard. it did seem like i entered the same info on more than one form. the only part that i didn't like was the review at the end. fill in box 1 column 2 form whatever means nothing to me. i had no idea what i was asked for. bring me back to the section that covered that topic and walk me back through it. if i knew the answers to those questions i wouldn't have needed a program to do my taxes.
What's great about it: easy to follow instructions anyone can do this
What's not so great: lost me in the review had no idea what they were asking

Information Pop up boxes

On the pop up information screens, to close the box you go to the upper right hand corner and click X. Standard location.
I think it would be faster for users to also have a X in the lower right hand corner to close tin Info Box.
I found myself several times looking in that lower right hand area to close.

The benchmark software for usability

I point to Turbotax as the benchmark software that various healthcare entities should be trying to emulate. Great font sizes and layout, guidance to next steps, error checking, backup to prompt saves and correct actions at pivotal points. Turbotax is the paragon of usability.
