Really worth it

Turbotax walks you through everything you need to input to file your taxes - and then lets you e-file for free!! So easy and quick. You still need to assemble all the information yourself, but you need to do that anyway if you have someone else do your taxes
What's great about it: Saves tons of money, and very simple.

First time filing my taxes and I feel confident I got it right. No need to keep paying $150/year to file! Money well-spent to learn to do it myself.
What's great about it: Walked me through everything
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Excellent Tax "workshop" - all my questions answered
What's not so great: Forgot my password and it was no fun getting Audit Defense and State eFile paid for.

I've used Turbo Tax for filing my returns for years, but went to a CPA for about 3 years. I'M BACK to TURBO TAX! This years program went super smooth, pulling in all necessary data. Thank you for providing a quality program at a fabulous price.
What's great about it: Very easy to navigate.
What's not so great: Sorry, I havn't identified any cons.

Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax has been a great help to me to complete my taxes. It is easy to follow and input all the data needed. It even downloads from my investment account so I don't go crazy trying to figure out what numbers go where! I love how it carries over data from the previous year and lets you know what we have to review or look at. I won't do my taxes without Turbo Tax!!!
What's great about it: It is so easy to follow the path and fill in the data. It knows what to ask you and where to put the data.
What's not so great: Its been a little harder the past two years to get answers to questions that come up while completing the forms.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have use Turbo Tax for several years, this one was by far the most confusing to me. I think you should import forms from the previous year when the program asks that type of question, and the final review and final filing could use some work. I was not sure I filed the return. Had to go back and check.
What's great about it: Moves along
What's not so great: for a non tax professional it can be confusing
