Good product.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: had trouble connecting to Intuit server in April because of the huge number of clients hitting server at same time

Makes Filing Sooooo Much Easier.

I love, love, love TurboTax. It makes it so much easier to file my taxes. I'm on my fourth year of filing with TurboTax.
My only con to this program is at the end when the system shows areas that need to be corrected - it does not detail the question that needs to be answered or reference what section the question is located.
What's great about it: Organized, systematic and easy.
What's not so great: No reference to section when it comes to corrections.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Bug cost me

A bug in the software cost me, I told it not to E-File state that was only going to refund 3 dollars, but it did it any way.
I am not happy........

Greatest software ever created!

A couple of issues:
1) I input that i was insured all year and the box in the detail page
defaulted to blank and the lower portion of the form had me insured only part of the year. Manually corrected it.

2) The dependent page defaulted to child even though my dependent is my 87 year old mother. Manually corrected it.
What's great about it: Ease, speed, tracking of prior year returns
What's not so great: Few hiccups

Not so happy with TurboTax for 2015

Not impressed this year.
First it locked up my computer and then would not run. After a thorough manual PC registry clean, I was able to get the program to run.
Second, for the first time ever using your product, your software was unable to load my previous W-2 information. The information was the same as several years' past.
3) Many of the extra help topics simply were not clear.

I buy your software each year for convenience and previous years fill-ins, next year I will shop around with other companies before deciding which software to purchase!
What's great about it: Most of the data was easy to enter and the software filled out all the necessary forms.
What's not so great: Could not do simply previous year updates and fill-ins. Many help topics were unclear this year

Triple check numbers

The Federal Tax prep of Turbo Tax worked wonderfully. The Oregon state tax prep portion did not. Since the numbers came from fed portion, numbers did not transfer correctly for the state tax forms. Fortunately, Turbo Tax allows you to override the numbers and put in the correct calculation.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax still one of the simplest self tax preparations
What's not so great: On the Oregon state tax form, the numbers did not total correcctly.
