Worst experience ever using Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for probably 15 years now and this year it did not work properly. I have Windows 10 and everytime I clicked on an item it would take me out of desktop mode and put me on the apps screen. Very frustrating. Glad to be done.

All in all, Turbo Tax really does guide through the process pretty logically and smoothly.
What's great about it: pretty easy to use
What's not so great: kind of difficult to go back to a specific field

More complex than in previous years

Generally like and rely on Turbotax but as my taxes get more complex, the program is not good enough. Interview was too vague for such things as K-1, foreign taxes, and basis for sale of rental property. Many questions about these items are not answered in "community forum"
What's great about it: Interview is ok for normal items
What's not so great: Interview and help is awful for unusual items

home tax prep made easy

Like to be able to enter info as I get it, Then go back and edit or review. I don't have to take 4 hours at once to process info, input, review and get it out immediately.
I have used turbo tax about ten years now. Opened personal business in 2012 so upgraded to Turbo Tax Home and business and feel confident doing the taxes.

IT IS A GO-GO

If you are slightly computer literate Turbo Tax is for you. It does not pay to have someone do your taxes when you can do them yourself. The process is very simple with a step by step approach.
Turbo Tax helps to overcome the fear of filing your own tax by instilling confidence from the very start: "Let's begin; we will walk you through it...".
What's great about it: Easy to use and thorough in the questions

What's great about it: Easy to enter info, continuous read-out of taxes owed, simple process with actually helpful help
