Got us through tax season.

Also not always easy to get further help from the 'more information' links.
What's great about it: Guided us through what forms to file.
What's not so great: If you missed something it tells you that you missed it, but not necessarily where it is in the software program.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Quickest Tax Prep Ever!

As a self-employed person, I have used Turbo Tax for Home and Business for many years. This year was, by far, the easiest process for entering data and for getting specific questions answered. I was able to enter all of my data, review both federal and state tax return forms and e-file, all in less than 3 hours. Absolutely amazing! You have done a terrific job of making this process almost painless...and enjoyable! Thank you!!!
What's great about it: Amazingly easy to use, including getting answers to specific questions.
What's not so great: Absolutely NONE!

Turbo Tax Never Fails!

What's not so great: Walkthrough was not quite as easy to follow as normal but still easy

Pros and Cons of 2015TurboTax

I find that there are too many versions of the software. Each year it is confusing to ensure I have the correct version. I'd prefer that TT create a "all-in-one" version even if the cost needs to increase as much as 50%. I also would like to see a tutorial added for tax saving tips and deductions as they apply to sole proprietorships and home businesses. I have paid extreme amounts of tax due to use of deferred savings accounts nessesitated by being laid off. It would be helpful to have instruction on how to minimze such punitive taxes and loss of so many deductions due to the erroneous IRS conclusion that we are suddenly "rich" and need to pay a higher "fair share". Being penalized for using 30 years of savings to subsist is inequitable and the expeerts at TT surely could provide advice. I suggest that a learning or interactive tutorial could be added to the software or sold separately.
What's great about it: 1) Abilityn to upload and use previous tax filing data. 2) Appears to do a god job of updating and encorporating change
What's not so great: Would prefer easier access to direct input into relevant forms. Would also like more information about minimizing taxes

Good tax return software

What's great about it: Easy, detailed, accurate and fast
What's not so great: Annoyingly keeps asking me to do a state return when I don't have to file a state return. Like this year after year.

Generally a great program and easy to use.
What's great about it: easy to answer questions and have good explainations in most of the need places
What's not so great: on the Ga State Retirement qustion about capital gains and losses a little more information would have been helpful

TurboTax for 2015

I've used Turbotax for over 15 years. The one time the IRS found and error, it was an input error. When I asked why this got past the checking, Turbotax reviewed what I had done and concluded it was their fault, and they paid the penalty. How's that for a warranty!
