Trusted TurboTax for years!

We have trusted TurboTax for years and love that it pulls prior year information and prompts us every step of the way.
What's great about it: love that TT walks me through all the right questions and provides tips and helpful information along the way
What's not so great: for home business we had to re-enter year end property tax information which was same as personal
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to use

I love Turbo Tax. I tell my friends about how easy it is to use. You don't have to be a tax wizard to type in the information. It is great!
What's great about it: Both Forms & Step by Step. Makes sense. Easy to use.

Took a long time the first time I've done this

This is the first time I've done this, and I will do it again next year as I feel I learned a lot with this process. Because I have a consulting business, I found the process took a long time. (Itemizing deductions, etc).
What's great about it: Really learned a lot about the tax system
What's not so great: Time consuming
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

with a self employed option for the first time , I do not believe anything was missed

Easy to use

I have used Turbo Tax for several years. I find it easy to navigate. I have investigated a few things that turbo tax completed just to verify for myself. I have not found any errors in doing so. I would recommend this product.
What's great about it: little prior tax knowledge needed

Allow users to re-start where they want to. Don't make us always go back to the beginning having to repeatedly answer items you already furnished. It is frustrating and takes extra time. Also very boring. Took me longer to get a suitable (to You) nickname than writing my comments and that symptom is present in your product.

Best Tax Preparation Helper

Tax preparation with Turbotax home and business is so fluid. It actually is a pleasure doing your own taxes which otherwise can be a very painful and lengthy process. The program asks the user every conceivable question [I've used other programs and CPAs in the past and Turbotax seems to cover everything relevant to your tax situation].
What's great about it: Easy and organized; asks the right questions
What's not so great: none
