no complaints - once again

I did struggle to manually transition two single filers to married filing jointly but it was manageable.
I had a slight issue and support was expedient, courteous and precise.
What's great about it: user friendly application
What's not so great: cannot merge previously singer filers to married -filing jointly

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Overall, quite the tool.
What's great about it: Instant feedback on data input
What's not so great: One of the errors was vague enough in explanation and origin that I never was able to fix it.

Lots of bugs this year

Frustrating trying to finish my return because of lockups. Also had to make changes on form that I couldn't get done in interview.
Been using TurboTax for at least 10 years. This is the first time I've had so many problems.
What's great about it: Like transfer of data and efile.
What's not so great: Two areas locked up couldn't continue. Health and deductions.

Love this software!

I've used TurboTax since 1996 when I started to do my own taxes. Each year my taxes get more complicated because of the businesses I've started or sold. So far, knock on wood, I haven't been audited, which is a great testament to the degree to which Intuit protects us from the IRS.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: No shortcuts to forms when correcting
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

slow software

Turbo could take the time to rework the software and make it faster and easier to use. Doing taxes is not that difficult. The software does not make it that much easier. Coin flip if I will just do it all myself or use Turbo.
What's great about it: covers alot of scenarios
What's not so great: very slow, wants to update every time you turn it on

I had some stock trades with which your review found a problem. Finding them was a huge problem. Suggest when an error is found, the software takes you directly to that precise area for correction. It has to know where it is because it found the problem. Maybe create flags? Anything to aid in discovery.
Otherwise everything was great. Thank you.
