TurboTax is great!!! It keeps things organized, simple and answers questions as you enter your information. Definitely puts your mind at ease knowing you have covered all your basis before filing your taxes.
What's great about it: Great Answers and Very Detailed
What's not so great: None

My taxes should have been real simple as I had worked for only part of the year, and had no other income or expenses to declare. It was easy since all my W-2 information was already available for automatic input.
I had problems with the healthcare section. I had company-provided healthcare and it was reflected on the W-2. We also said that there were no exemptions. The program would not allow us to continue. After looking at the help provided with the program, we called for help to an 800 number that was provided to assist us.
The person on the other end of the phone took about an hour to help us solve the problem. She was patient with us when we needed it.
Then, she walked us through re-entering our personal information, and with that completed, we were able to finish our return.
Thank TurboTax for having this resource for us when we needed it!
What's great about it: We got a real live person to help us when we had problems!
What's not so great: The program got stuck and we had to get help to continue.

So Easy for new business owner!

My husband and I just started our own business and while we have used turbo tax in the past, we were a little insecure about using it this year but it worked our great! I can't believe how easy it was to prepare 1099s and enter all of our business info and expenses. It gave me the option to skip sections I wanted to skip or to walk me through sections I needed help on. I can't say how much I love the home and business product. We will use it forever!!!
What's great about it: creating 1099 was incredibly easy
What's not so great: nothing!
