Turbo Tax 2015

I've been using turbo tax to file my tax return for at least the last 10 years. The first problem started couple of years ago when Turbo tax can no longer workable in my Mac book and has to use PC or a newer version of Mac. So, since my old Mac book is no longer working, all my Tax files are useless. This year, it lock up many times. It keep saying " calculating " and keep going forever..until I turn off the computer and restart again.
What's great about it: Still user friendly
What's not so great: Lock ups

Horrible service for business customers.

I run a small media production business. That may sound irrelevant, but it becomes relevant, I promise. Anyways, I originally bought the Home and Business version as recommended on the website, and found out quickly it wouldn't process my corporation taxes. It was only good for a sole proprietorship or single-member LLC. To do corporate taxes, I had to have the Business edition, which I had to dig through on the website to find.
Now this is where it gets even worse. Remember how I said I run a small media production business? Turns out, the Business edition of TurboTax is not available for Mac. So I had to do my 1120 by hand. The one upside is now, after doing them by hand, I can fully appreciate how much easier tax prep software makes our lives.
What's great about it: Did well on personal taxes
What's not so great: Couldn't do my business taxes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

community property married filing seperate

The section for reporting community property income for married filing separate is not user friendly at all. There are no instructions and simple fill in the blanks - just confusing fill in the blanks with no helpful instructions. Also, if you make an adjustment to withholding in this section, TurboTax says that you aren't allowed to e-file, but repeatedly gives you that option as you go to the filing section - that shouldn't even be an option if it's not allowed.
What's great about it: mostly user friendly
What's not so great: parts are confusing

TurboTax Rocks

I love the ease of using Turbo Tax year after year. It saves much time by remembering and importing pertinent information from the prior year's return. I don't have to worry about keeping up with the ever-changing tax laws because Turbo Tax does it for me. AND it makes sure that we maximize deductions.

TT is the best, taking last year's info and loading it into this year, asking the right questions and anticipating the weird. Note that I understand taxes so I usually know the answer and that helps me get what I want from TT. I'm a contented user.

Good unit but seems a little expensive for filing

the program works great as is always has but the extra charges at the end of the filing was a surprise I didn't expect. this year is the first year I e-filed and didn't expect the extra fees to be so high.
What's great about it: makes the forms with proper information
What's not so great: Extra charges are a little suprize not expected
