Not as good a last year

Just not as easy and some of the wording is confusing. Did not pull information all the time. The very last step before filing after two accuracy checks. I am asked to enter the city to my address on a number of forms. This should not happen. I had 14 areas to correct all associated with the input not asking for the information when initially entered.
What's great about it: Quick does the job
What's not so great: Not as easy as previous years.. a lot more manually entry unneccessary

Great, but can be improved

I'm committed to turbotax every year because it takes info from one year to next such as depreciation schedules. Seems to handle everything as I added a farm and worked great. I have VERY complicated taxes with business, rentals, and farm and turbotax handles it all!
My biggest complaint is that it keeps asking the same questions in step by step mode even if I already answered the questions. I HAVE to go through my taxes several time due to my complicated tax situation. Turbotax should know that I already answered certain questions and only go through those again if I request. Otherwise it should jump me directly past those same questions once I answered once.
What's great about it: Year to year filing and remembering info is great
What's not so great: asking same questions over and over

2015 Taxes

I used Turbo Tax for years but found H&R Blocks software more user friendly until this year when it refused to figure SE Tax for a minister. Went back to turbo tax and it did everything perfectly, but is not as easy to go through as H&R's is.
What's great about it: Did SE Tax when H&R Blocks wouldn't
What's not so great: didn't seem that user friendly

I'm an older guy that's not real tech savvy, but this was not bad at all. If I can do it, almost anyone can.

Great Job

I like TurboTax. I have used it for many years and each year, it gets better, especially the help functions. I like the new feature of putting the link to the exact IRS form directly into the help function.

Confident its done right

Pretty much as mentioned in the pros & Cons. The complications of the tax code help TurboTax and you do a great job of leading us through the mess. I have tried H&R's tax software and got completely lost. I will never use anything else but TurboTax.
What's great about it: Questions seemed clearer and easier to answer this year
What's not so great: Nothing with TurboTax, taxes in general are too complicated
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX EVERY YEAR IT HAS BEEN AVAILABLE. I NO LONGER HAVE TO DO IT THE PAPER WAY. I HAVE BEEN DOING OUR TAXES FOR 48 YEARS. THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT SO EASY.
What's great about it: I LOVE THE EASE OF USING TURBO TAX. IDO IT MYSELF
What's not so great: I AM UNABLE TO FILE MY RETURNS. IT KEEPS BRINGING ME BACK TO THE SAME PAGE. FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!! NO STARS FOR YOU
