Turbo Tax Is The Best

I have been using TurboTax for over 15 years now. I will not use anything else. Every year they make it better and it is easier and easier to use. Why pay an accountant when I can keep my own ledgers throughout the year (I update them quarterly) and then come tax time I can just plug in the totals and be done. Today it took me just 2 hours to complete my taxes!
What's great about it: Easy to Use; Easy Filing; Quick Returns
What's not so great: Automobile Questions Are Sometimes Confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Waiting for my money

After using for 9 years, I'm still comfortable with the program. With a small home business, it helps me to see how well I am running it. It is user friendly and loaded with helpful information on the "click links".
It was a little aggravating to return the next day and have to hunt a little to get right back to where I left off....
I would still recommend it because it asks simple questions and seems to cover everything, and I mean everything!
What's great about it: Overall format is simple, clear and user friendly
What's not so great: When reopening, could not get right to the exact spot where I left

It dissappears

I have been using turbo tax for the last five years (probably longer). If you leave a copy of your return on your hard drive it disappears. You must save it on a disk in a safe place. Did it to me again this year. Amazing
What's great about it: Fast and simple
What's not so great: Try and find last years return on your computer

Perfect for teaching the kids

I used TT to walk my new working college grads what's involved in filing tax returns and showing them all the issues in life that constitute taxable events.
What's great about it: simplifies the whole process

Have used turbotax/macintax for years to prepare our return. It works well and is very user friendly. Much more user friendly than professional service tax preparers use.
What's great about it: user friendly
What's not so great: error fix needs the details option. The pin protection is not easily done.

Printing is hard to get what you want, needs to be laid out better. I wanted to print Fed for records. I wanted to print state for filing, got noting that was usable.
What's great about it: been doing it this way for 15 years
What's not so great: They never send me the next years, always have to call
